After a long week with both great and surprising results, the last day of DANISA DENMARK OPEN presented by VICTOR has arrived. The players have fought hard and long, and they have earned their spot in the finals. We have outlined every category, so know what’s in store today.

WOMEN’S SINGLES 12:00 PM local time, court 1: Who will walk away with the prize?

Tai Tzu Ying, the world number one women’s singles player, made her way to the finals yesterday and today she plays Saina Nehwal from India.

Nehwal impressed in the quarterfinals as she defeated second seed Nozomi Okuhara. Since then, hope has been high for the 28-year-old Indian. In the light of the two players several former matches against each other, we can expect two well-prepared players that won’t stop for anything.

Around 1:00 PM local time, court 1: Chinese champions ready to fight
Once again, Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong showed why they are among the best mixed doubles in the world. Yesterday, they played a brilliant match against Indonesian couple Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir, where they took control after a close first set.

Today, they will compete for the Thai couple Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Sapsiree who are ranked 13 in the world and playing their biggest final so far.

Even though Zheng/Huang have brought meaning to the word control during this tournament, it doesn’t mean that today’s match is a safe win.
Both teams will have to give all they have got to bring home the title as winner of DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by VICTOR.

Around 2:00 PM local time, court 1: Domestic rally in the Japanese camp!
Both Shiho Tanaka/Koharu Yonemoto and Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota played matches with impressive results yesterday. Today there will be a domestic match between the two couples when they fight for the title.

Around 3:00 PM local time, court 1: Rally between teams for the 10th time

The top ranked Marcus Gideon/Kevin Sukamuljo are for the 10th time in their career playing Japanese Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda. So far, Gideon/Sukamuljo take the lead with one win, but there is no doubt, that both teams know how to make it difficult for each other.

Today they face each other again, this time to compete for the title as winner of DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by VICTOR.

Around 4:00 PM local time, court 1: Fight to the finish

When asked yesterday if Momota would bring home the victory today, the answer as a prompt and clear yes. Momota is confident after yesterday’s victory against Indian Kidambi Srikanth, and he is planning to give it 100% from start.

Read the article about Momota’s win yesterday.

He will meet Chou Tien Chen who yesterday fought the only remaining Dane Anders Antonsen in the last game of the day. The match between the Chinese Tai Pei and Dane showed that Chou is ready to go all the way.

Both Momota and Chou are willing to fight for every point, and today’s match will be no exception.
