Tai Tzu Ying (Chinese Taipei) has been dominating in women’s singles since the 2016 Olympics. During this All England this dominance showed more than ever as she won the tournament without any game loss. Also Akane Yamaguchi (Japan) had to bite the dust in the final.

Yamaguchi started with some small leads, but was never able to expand it. Everytime she created a gap, Tai Tzu Ying was immediately there to close it. In the end of the first game, Tai pushed through the pressure and the 22-20 win was for her.

In the second game there was no holding back anymore for Tai. She was in total control and did not give Yamaguchi any chances. With 21-13 in the second game, the All England title was all hers.

- It is nice to win again. I did not feel any pressure as I enjoyed playing here, Tai said after her match

Run fast.

As easy as her game might seem, Tai admitted that she was tired during her game because of the day before.

- I was actually a little worried, because I know my opponent can run really fast! Tai continued.

- But everywhere I go, it feels like I am playing home!
