- We want to get a medal!

This week, Badminton Europe has released another BEC Podcast episode, which is available on Facebook and YouTube, and also available to listen to on SoundCloud, Spotify and iTunes.

This episode features the Dutch Men’s Doubles Robin Tabeling & Jelle Maas who took their time to visit the studio at the Denmark Open.

The current winners of the Belgium International speak about all things badminton, including how they feel ahead of the 2024 Olympics which is set to be held in Paris, France.

European Games

The two Dutchmen spoke to BEC Podcast about the year ahead and revealed that the European Games is 

Maas also made the point about both players never playing at a European Games before and admitted that he is looking forward to the event.

- The European Games is coming up in 2019, we want to focus on that to try and get another medal in a big European tournament, Robin Tabeling told the BEC Podcast.
 
- It is a great event, and we have actually never played in it so it is great to show your abilities on there. It is going to be totally different being multi-sport event, Jelle Maas said.
 
Olympics would be great!

The 27-year old also stated that competing with Danish players will be tough but he believes that the pair can challenge players from England, France and Germany.
 
- It is always going to be tough to beat Denmark of course. But we must strive to be in the top there with England, France and even Germany. I think we can and I think we will, Jelle Maas told the Podcast,
 
- It is going to be very tough to qualify for the Olympics but if we do then it would be a great achievement for us.
