Young talents and profiles are ready to kick off the 44th YONEX Hungarian International Championships 2019.

The tournament, an International Challenge, will take place in Budaörs, Hungary at the same time as the World Academy of Sport Course.

The qualifications for the tournament are being played tomorrow the 30th of October and the tournament will end on the 2nd of November.

Expectations and thoughts
Rasmus Espersen,18, from Denmark will be playing the men’s doubles with Emil Hybel and the mixed doubles with Christine Busch. In men’s doubles they will be facing Levente Nagy-Szabo and Letsch Peter form Hungary in the qualification while in the mixed doubles he and Busch will face a pair from the qualification.

- My expectations for Hungary are to play some good matches and work on the things that have been going well, he said.

- I hope we can start to show that we can compete at this level and soon make results in these tournaments.

Potential winners
Some of the young European talents are joining the badminton party in Hungary, but som big names are also attending.

- I see Kim Sa Rang and Kim Dukyoung from Korea as favourites in the men’s doubles, but Mathias (Christiansen) and David (Daugaard) from Denmark might also have a chance.

- I also see Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje as possible winners.
