New heights for Antonsen, Axelsen and Gemke

Anders Antonsen (DEN) has reached the top 3 on the men’s singles world ranking list published on Tuesday. The Dane has moved two spots up to celebrate a career-best result. Viktor Axelsen (DEN) has moved up the ranking list with one spot to occupy position no. 5. 

Denmark’s Rasmus Gemke has hit the top 20 after moving up with six spots. With his semifinals in last week’s China Open, the Dane has received 7700 points. Jan O Jorgensen comes next on the men’s singles world ranking list. He occupies position no. 23. 

Spain’s Carolina Marin is leading the ranking list for the European players on the women’s singles world ranking list. She is standing on position no. 12. Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt comes next, as she has moved four spots up to occupy position no. 13. The Dane is two spots away from her career-best result.

Doubles standings

On the men’s doubles world ranking list England’s Marcus Ellis/Chris Langridge have moved two spots up to occupy position no. 19. The English pair is following Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin Seidel from Germany, standing on position no. 18.

Women’s doubles world ranking list has Gabriela Stoeva/Stefani Stoeva (BUL) occupying position no. 11 three weeks in a row. Russia’s Ekaterina Bolotova/Alina Davletova have moved one spot up to occupy position no. 22. Selena Piek/Cheryl Seinen are following them on position no. 23. 

On the mixed doubles world ranking list England’s two pairs – Marcus Ellis/Lauren Smith and Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock are standing on positions no. 10 and 11 respectively. Robin Tabeling/Selena Piek (Netherlands) have moved one spot up to occupy position no. 14. France’s Thom Gicquel/Delphine Delrue have moved one spot up to occupy position no. 22.
