The 2020 European Senior Championships will take place in Zadar, Croatia, and now the official logo is ready.
The logo for the 2020 European Senior Championships was announced on 11 June and the logo is the perfect link between sport and hosting country.
The shuttle in the middle of the logo is inspired of the coat of arms of the Republic of Croatia. The well-known main shield of Croatia, “the chessboard”, and the five smaller shields all together form the logo of the 2020 European Senior Championships.
A great event
The event will take place from 27 September to 4 October, and Badminton Europe is looking very much forward to welcome more than 1.000 senior players in nine different age groups to the beautiful city of Zadar.
- It is always an interesting event to host as it is our biggest event in terms of entries. The Croatian federation is hosting such big event for the first time, but I know that they will do a great job, Deputy General Secretary at Badminton Europe, Jimmy Andersen said.
- The venue is amazing - the facilities around the tournament are perfect. It will be a great week in Croatia for sure, he added.
The logo is designed by Laura Martí, graphical designer at Badminton Europe.
