Having contested the All England semifinals last week, Selena Piek/ Cheryl Seinen continued their incredible run as they got the better of fourth seeds Maiken Fruergaard/ Sara Thygesen.

The Dutch duo did well to save six game points in the opener, before closing out the match 23-21, 21-15 in 42 minutes. They next face the second-seeded Stoeva sisters, who easily defeated another Danish pair Alexandra Bøje/ Mette Poulsen. The European Champions had this to say after the match:

-We started with some mistakes but fast we come to good rhythm and this was very helpful in this match.

On the other hand, the top seeds Jongkolphan Kititharakul/ Rawinda Prajongjai had a scare as they struggled to close out the match 16-21, 21-16, 22-20, against Julie Finne-Ipsen/ Mai Surrow. The Thai pair will have to contend with Ashwini Ponnappa/ Reddy N. Sikki, who upset the third seeds Chloe Birch/ Lauren Smith 21-14, 21-18.

Young guns are flexing their muscle
In the men’s doubles encounter against the qualifiers Krishna Prasad Garaga/ Vishnu Vardhan Goud Panjala, the Popov brothers failed to convert four match points. The surprise Indian pair scored six consecutive points to steal the win 21-17, 10-21, 22-20, and book a semifinal spot against another young pair Callum Hemming/ Steven Stallwood who themselves saved three match points against the seventh seeds M. R. Arjun/ Dhruv Kapila, before emerging victorious 21-19, 18-21, 23-21.

The other semifinal features the title favourites Ben Lane/ Sean Vendy up against the Indonesian duo of Sabar Karyaman Gutama/ Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.

An all-Danish mixed doubles final?
With the top two Danish pairs in opposite halves of the draw, there is a good possibility of an all-Danish title match in the mixed doubles category. While the seventh seeds Mathias Christiansen/ Alexandra Bøje will take on the qualifiers Zachariah Josiahno Sumanti/ Hediana Julimarbela, Niclas Nøhr/ Amalie Magelund will have their work cut out against the Indian pair of Dhruv Kapila/ Ashwini Ponnappa.
