As she herself announced this Friday, December 10, Carolina Marín will not be able to compete in the 2021 Huelva World Championships that will be taking place in the hometown of the triple badminton world champion from this Sunday.
Despite trying her best until the last moment, Carolina has not been able to recover on time from the serious knee injury that she suffered last May, and she has therefore been forced to announce her withdrawal.
The Spanish Badminton Federation (FESBA) gives the player words of gratitude, as well as encouragement for their great champion who will be in Huelva, her city, to experience 'her' World Championships, although she will unfortunately have to do so off the court.
