The French Open 2023 in Rennes, France, has drawn to a close, and China emerged as the dominant force, securing remarkable victories in three out of the five finals.

China's Jiang and Wei achieved a momentous milestone as they were crowned the mixed doubles champions, winning 21-17 15-21 21-12, over Hong Kong's Tang and Tse. What makes this victory even more special is that it occurred in their debut year of playing together on the tour. Wei expressed, "We're very happy and excited." Jiang added, "This is a confirmation for us after all our efforts."

For Chen Yu Fei, the women's singles final brought about a remarkable déjà vu, as she clinched back-to-back titles, having secured the victory at the Denmark Open just a week ago. She faced off against Tai Tzu Ying from Chinese Taipei and emerged victorious with a score of 21-17 22-20, "Every match I've played against her has been difficult, but I had confidence and the right attitude to win the game."

In the women's doubles category, Liu and Tan outshone their competition, defeating Thailand's Kititharakul and Prajongjai with a nail-biting score of 26-24 21-19. Much like their compatriots in the mixed doubles, it was their first year on the tour, making it all the sweet. When asked if they were taken aback by their achievements, they laughed, responding, "Of course, yes."

Among the champions, Denmark's Astrup and Rasmussen claimed the men's doubles title, marking their first Super 750 victory. Rasmussen stated, "We feel amazing. It's difficult to comprehend whatever is going on, but somehow, we manage to keep going." Astrup chimed in, adding, "It was worthy of a final; we all played amazingly."

Indonesia's Jonatan Christie was not to be left out of the winners' circle, as he claimed his maiden Super 750 title with an emotional 16-21 21-15 21-14 victory over Li Shi Feng.
