Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue clinch the mixed doubles title at the 2024 European Championships, marking a historic first European Championships gold medal for France.

The pair have achieved several great feats on the international stage. Their journey to the top includes a bronze at the 2019 European Games, a silver in 2023, and finishing as runner-ups at the last European Championships in Madrid. This year, however, they broke through to gold with their superb performances throughout the tournament. The second-seeded French duo overcame Denmark's top-seeded Mathias Christiansen/ Alexandra Bøje in straight games, 21-16 21-15.
