As we wrap up a busy 2024, it's exciting to look forward to what 2025 holds for us.
With a year packed with successful Badminton Europe major events, we're gearing up for even more thrilling competitions next year, all set with fantastic hosts.
Kicking off with Baku
The year starts strong with the 2025 European Mixed Team Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 12 to 16 February. Hosted every two years, this event is dedicated to crowning Europe's top mixed national team
It marks the first European Championship to be hosted in Azerbaijan, although they have previously successful hosted one of the qualification stages for the 2024 European Men’s & Women’s Championships, along with the Azerbaijan International on the European Circuit. Baku will offer a spectacular setting for top-level badminton.
Spring brings the European Championships to Denmark
The 2025 European Championships will take place from 8 to 13 April in Horsens, Denmark. As an annual event, this 31st edition brings the championships back to Denmark for the fourth time, but it will be a first for the city of Horsens. Located on the east coast of Jutland, Horsens is poised to add its unique charm to this prestigious competition.

With these exciting events on the horizon, together with the European Circuit in full swing, 2025 is shaping up to be another great year of action on European soil.
