The 26-year-old Dutch men’s singles profile Erik Meijs passed away Thursday night after being involved in a tragic traffic accident on a German highway earlier in the day.
In spite of his young age, Erik Meijs had for a long time been part of the European top in Men's Singles, and he will be greatly missed by the global badminton community.
